Whereas the Town of Hawkesbury has been retained for a grant under the 2020-2021 Connecting Links Program for the McGill Street retaining wall reconstruction project, and; Whereas the deadline for awarding the first contract under the funding agreement is September 30, 2020, and; Whereas following the closing of the request for proposal process, only one proposal was received, that of WSP, and; Whereas the result is therefore considered irregular as prescribed in procurement policy N° SP-F_2015-01, and; Whereas only the Council has the authority to award a contract in such circumstances. Be it resolved to award the engineering contract N° TS-2001 to the firm WSP in the amount of $ 54,695.00 excluding HST, as recommended in the document 2020_REC_58.
