Whereas the Town of Hawkesbury accepted the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) Community Safety and Well-being Plan during the regular meeting of council on May 31, 2021, and; Whereas on June 23, 2021, the UCPR council discussed hiring a coordinator for the implementation of the Community Safety and Well-being Plan in the Prescott Russell region, and; Whereas the UCPR need a resolution from each of the local councils confirming the delegation of responsibility to the UCPR in order to proceed. Be it resolved to approve the delegation of responsibility to the UCPR for the implementation of the Community Safety and Well-being Plan in the Town of Hawkesbury.
