Whereas the province has announced the Municipal Modernization Program to help municipalities improve their service delivery and efficiency, and; Whereas municipalities have to send an Expression of Interest for Intake 1 of this program by December 6, 2019. Be it resolved to support the submission of an Express of Interest under Intake 1 of the Municipal Modernization Program for the introduction of a lean program for municipal operations to find ways to improve quality of products, efficiency and effectiveness of the services rendered to the population of Hawkesbury, and ultimately reduce costs.
